What will people think?

Writing a book was a scary thing for me. I had to put myself out there and didn’t know whether or not people would like what I had to say.

You may have found yourself in a situation where you were afraid to speak up or ask a “stupid” question. When you are taken in by the myth of self-esteem you think you are “less than” than others. You may feel isolated, like you don’t belong, you’re not as smart as… Yet, you may have found that after you did speak up or or ask a question, someone would come up to you and say, “I was thinking that very thing,” or “I had the same question.”

The Value of Personal Excellence

If you have a job that you do not like, think in terms of personal excellence. It is not the job that you’re in that defines you, it is the job that you do. You are doing your best for yourself, for your own dignity and integrity, not for the company or the product. If you put excellence first, you will begin to think differently about yourself which is the first step in getting out of your current situation
